Legal
Privacy policy.
Short version: we only collect what you send us through our forms, we do not run tracking cookies, and we do not sell or share your information.
Who we are
MergenKit is operated by Cagla Caglar (the "founder"). Correspondence about privacy should go to cagla@caglacaglar.com.
What we collect
We collect only the information you actively submit through forms on this website. The demo request form collects your name, work email, organisation, role, organisation type, optional research area, and a description of your use case. The contact form collects your name, email, subject, and message.
We do not collect tracking cookies, fingerprinting data, or identifying analytics. If we run analytics in the future, the provider will be a privacy-friendly service that does not identify individual visitors.
Why we collect it
We use the information you submit only to respond to your enquiry. We do not add you to a mailing list, send unsolicited marketing, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Where it is stored
Form submissions are processed through our form provider and reach the founder's email inbox. The form provider (Formspree at the time of writing) processes the submission on our behalf and follows its own privacy policy.
How long we keep it
We keep correspondence as long as it is relevant to the conversation it relates to. You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing the address above.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and equivalent frameworks, you have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. You also have the right to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
To exercise any of these rights, write to cagla@caglacaglar.com. We respond within two business days.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published here. Material changes will be communicated to anyone affected.
